The word wrap problem is fixed.

You can now post via a private news server. See the three new
fields on the form.

Obviously, do not enter a private user name and password. Some
servers require a publicly available user name and password, which
is what you should use.

This is being sent via news.aioe.org

Please post question and comments here.

Name ONE publicly accessible news server that uses a community login
and password.

You're trying to harvest account information. Plain and simple.

Great. More lost messages. You do realize AIOE is throttled don't you?

Moron.

news.grc.com. They allow any user id and any password.

They don't require a user id or a password.

Total nonsense. GRC doesn't require *any* authentication, and it's a
limited/private (grc.* hierarchy only) server to begin with.

Any other attempts to get a handhold on a straw today?

You may not understand the purpose of the utility, which is to allow
anonymous posting through news servers other than the one that
newsanon.yi.org normally uses.

For example, news.grc.com.

It doesn't make any difference if the news server has its own private
hierarchy, or if it has the usual usenet hierarchy.

I'm willing to be corrected, but as far as I can tell, news.grc.com
requires authentication to post to.

Again, the utility is for 'posting' to the newsgroups, not 'reading' of
them.

I hope that clears things up a bit.

They do in order to post. The id and password can be anything, but must be
the same, and must be at least 8 characters.
