OK we have about 200 PCs here, muggins here has to make sure I can get
them back up in minutes as they play out tv programs to loads of
people. Ghost 7.5 works great I can ghost the whole OS drive in about
5 mins over the network to a big SAN drive thingame. Restore is nearly
as quick.

The Problem.
The new flaming machines have broadcom network cards built in, took us
weeks to get the driver to work in DOS. Then we were floored by the
graphics cards not supporting the qwerky mode ghost likes to use for
its gui. Cant see what we're doing anymore and cant find a way around
it.
Tried Ghost 10 but that looks like we need to install it on each and
every machine which is a no no as the video server vendors specify
several tight rules, no firewalls, no antivirus infact no other
applications other than their bespoke software as it always causes
problems and they wont support the servers with (in their view)
unnecessary software on it. So DOS ghosting using a floppy was great
for a few years.

How can I get out of this deep hole?

Huh ?
You do quite the same task, over and over and over. Don't you ?

So, why bother with the gui ?
Read the manual and tell Ghost what to do from a batch /
commandline.
