I am running a Win2000 server and I just installed asp.net so that I could
use the feathers from 2003 frontpage (database wizards). Even If I create a
blank.aspx page to test I keep getting a runtime error. I tried a basic ASP
with no problems.

I have another web server setup the same (so I think) and the blank.aspx
page processes.
does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
Lowell

Note to live by... never use a real email address on News Groups... the bots
get them everytime and you will be bombarded with Spam.

Hello,

Do you want to share the error message with us? It can be pretty much
everything, but an error message usually tells you what is wrong.

But...this doesn't sound like a problem with IIS, but more as a problem with
ASP.NET. You might have better luck in a newsgroup more relevant to your
issue, but please include the complete error message in that newsgroup too.

Just one. Tell us the actual error so we can tell you where to go.
Wait. I mean "so we can point you in a direction that may help you
resolve your issue." Yeah, that's a bit more polite.

This may be a stupid question to ask did you install dotnet framework for II
S5.0?
