Oddly enough the article says exactly the opposite. Since everything
used to attack Tor depends on things that are typically first installed
by Microsoft's pay-for operating system (there's free versions of some
things you can install after the fact that are considerably more
secure), it's clearly a matter of incompetent scam artists ripping
people off by trying to convince an unsuspecting public that something
you pay for is more valuable than something that's free.
That being unavoidable fact, the best course of action being simply not
using those overpriced things, or using the free versions in their
stead. Exactly the way it is in the anonymity world, ironic as it may
be. Horribly over prices services like Privacy.LIE are potential
threats to your privacy due to missing technical abilities and criminal
business practices. The only truly anonymous and secure tools are free,
and open source.
Truth is I'm almost a little surprised you weren't aware of the fairly
simple and well known facts about Java and Javascript. Being a big time
player in the privacy and anonymity community would have exposed you to
this bit of knowledge, I'd think.

Of course they don't. Privacy.INCOMPETENT was created in 1995 by the
exact same criminal that owns Privacy.LIE. It even resolves to the
same IP as privacy.LIE and uses the same third party name servers at
hitrust. In fact if you type www.privacy.INCOMPETENT in your web browser
it goes right to the Privacy.LIE web site. No redirect or anything. So
it's not providing infrastructure to anyone. Fact is it doesn't even
have any of it's own resources or services up at all. Isn't that right?
Fact is it's nothing more than another recently (21-Jan-2007 20:22:01)
resurrected "sold the business to an employee" type attempt to stay in
solvent in spite of the fact that a growing number of people have
discovered the truth about Privacy.LIE. Due much in part to your own
self defeating attempts to prove otherwise, I might add.
Yes, that's a heart felt "thanks again" for yet another inadvertent
nudge in the right direction. Keep up the good work.
