WebSphere SystemOut.log file shows following information:

WebSphere Platform 5.1 [JDK 1.4.2 ca1420-20040626] [BASE 5.1.1.7 cf7
0540.03]
Host Operating System is AIX, version 5.2
Java version = J2RE 1.4.2 IBM AIX build ca142-20060421 (SR5)
was.install.root = /usr/WebSphere/AppServer
user.install.root = /usr/WebSphere/AppServer
Java Home = /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/java/jre
ws.ext.dirs = /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/java/lib:/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/cla
sses:/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/classes:/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/lib:/usr/WebS
phere/AppServer/lib/ext:/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/web/help:/usr/WebSphere/App

Java Library path = /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/java/bin:/usr/WebSphere/AppServ
er/java/jre/bin/classic:/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/java/jre/bin:/usr/WebSphere
/AppServer/bin:/usr/mqm/java/lib:/usr/opt/wemps/lib:/usr/lib

versionInfo.sh reports Java version is JDK 1.4.2 ca1420-20040626.

java -fullversion run from Java HOME returns J2RE 1.4.2 IBM AIX build ca142-
20060421 (SR5).

The question is: what version of JDK is really used by WebSphere? Where it g
ets this version number [JDK 1.4.2 ca1420-20040626]? Could it be caused
by incorrect ly applied patch (SR5)?

Nothing to worry too much about
