Hi,

Initially we were verifying the VS 2005 Web Application Project (WAP)
approach, however faced some wierd issues with Template explorer, does
Microsoft support this approach, I read there were some hot fixes which got
discontinued. Is it worth/reliable to use WAP with MCMS?

We are simultaneously checking MCMS SP2 and the Visual Studio 2005 Web Site
Project Model approach, however need more information on deployment of the
web application with this model. Are there any know issues with this model?

Please point me some good articles related to the same.

Hi Ajey,

no web application projects are supported.
But you need the following hofix anyway if you haven't installed them yet:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=914195

Cheer,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan,

Hotfix you have mentioned is related to VS 2003.
However we are using VS 2005 and NOT VS 2003.

So is the same hotfix also applicable to VS 2005?

Hi Ajey,

that is not correct.
The hotfix is for both versions.

Cheers,
Stefan
