Have you attempted a factory reset of the problem
phones?

No, they power-cycle the phones and they work for some time then become
un-responsive at some point (maybe overnight).

I'm thinking the SCCP packets to the subscriber are being dropped. I
don't have any information yet, device loads, ccm versions, etc.

Did you check the phone's status messages for any
useful diagnostic information?

What version of code?

If you have a bunch of phones doing stupid stuff, I would get a new devpack
on there... just first step in troubleshooting this kind of thing...

If it's one phone, then it is could be a combination of firmware or
broken-phone syndrome.

You might as well beta-test for Cisco... they need the real-world testing...
.

I cannot count the number of times I have used a customer to see if a new
release from cisco was going to blow up (just make sure that customer is not
the 'freak-out and sue you' kind of customer...)

Eventually, you have to try the new code on someone to see what happens...
Generally, I have found that the three-week rule is a good thing to
follow... if it is still on CCO after three weeks, it is probably stable...
