Hello, we are getting following error when someone tries to edit and
save the page. This only happens to specific pages as well.

Error:   Error in Page Update using ROM
Description:   Object locked by other user. The current session must
lock the target object before performing the requested action. The
target object is locked by another user in either another session or
in the desktop client. This session cannot acquire a lock.

And we are also having problem with Edit box (Switch to edit mode)
does not show up on our site after login.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

please try the "Kill lock" feature in site builder for the affected items.
If this does not help, please open a support case for this.

is this a read-write website?
Did you enable web authoring?
If not, this is as expected.
