I updated the PortalServer/config/properties/ConfigService.properties and ra
n the WPSConfig.bat update-properties. I restarted the portal server after t
hat and tried to login with my admin userid/passowrd and got this message.

EJPAK0004W: Login failed. Please enter a valid user ID and password.

Any ideas. Please help.

What exactly did you change in ConfigService.properties? Did you try
setting back the origin values in ConfigService.properties and running
the config task again?

I got this error message from the log\systemOut.log file

How do i switch to development mode? Which server is it talking about WAS or
 WPS?

Yes. I rolled back the changes and ran the WPSConfig update-properties comma
nd.

In the configservices.properties, i set --> command.login=LoginUserNoAuth  f
rom command.login=LoginUserAuth.

Then i rolledback the changes..and tried to start again and now i am locked 
out.
