Could just be a brain clog.. but

Customer is running CME with 7912's, they have a reception phone, which
when unmanned they would like the call presented to all users in the
office.

Because 7912's are used, there is only 1 line appearance, so a shared
line appearance wont work. Hunt Groups have been suggested but they want
all phones to ring....

If there any possible scenario where this could be configured to work?

Thanks!!

Use the overlay button in conjunction with multiple
ephone-DNs with the same phone number.

e.g.

ephone-dn 1 dual-line

number 4000

no huntstop

hunstop channel

ephone-dn 2 dual-line

huntstop channel

preference 1

number 4000

ephone 1

button 1o1,2

ephone 2

button 1o1,2

Check out the night-service feature for this. First configure
group-pickup normally. Then you create a night-service code in global
CME config to allow the operator to enable/disable night bell mode.
Configure "night-service bell" on each phone you want to ring while the
system is in night mode. The user then does a group-pickup to retrieve
the call after hours.
