Hi Stefan and others,

I applied the security fix on my production box (mcms 2002 SP2 on win2K)
I see no confirmation whether it did succeed or not. The only thing I can
track is this line in the application log : "Product: Microsoft Content
Management Server SP1a -- Configuration completed successfully. "

the version showed in the mcms config app is:
MCMS Version: Version 5.0 (5.0.5054.0)

Is this ok, or do I have to check version numbers of specific dll's ?

Thanks
Steven

seems okay,

* some dll's appear in multiple directories in different versions/filedates.
But at least one allways shows the correct version.
* not present on my box:
- cms2002.xml
- Microsoft.contentmanagement.developertools.visualstudio.dll

I guess MS will present us a SP3 soon?

When downloading SP2 hotfixes from MS the link contains SP3 -- whether
that's just standard MS practice for all their products (eg the name
of the current branch might always be SP<next> ) or a hint that SP3 is
on the way who knows. Stefan has said previously no decision has been
made re SP3.
