Has anyone here got JuK to work on Mandrake 9.1?

I'm keen to try out Juk, a music jukebox app that I've heard is very
good.

I have juk-1.1-2tex.i586.rpm and when I
# rpm -i juk-1.1-2tex.i586.rpm
it I'm told that:
kdelibs >= 3.1.2 is needed by juk-1.1-2tex

If I then
# rpm -i kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark.i586.rpm
I get
error: failed dependencies:
qt >= 3.0.3 is needed by kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark
cups-libs >= 1.1.12 is needed by kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark
libMagick.so.6 is needed by kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark
libqt-base-mt.so.3 is needed by kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark
libXinerama.so.1 is needed by kdelibs-3.1.4-1.20031119.1ark

Now, this page http://rpmfind.rediris.es/rpm2html/...erama.so.1.html
seems to tell me that libXinerama.so.1 is part of libxfree86-4.3-
30mdk.i586.rpm, but if I
# rpm -i libxfree86-4.3-30mdk.i586.rpm
I get told:
error: failed dependencies:
XFree86 < 4.3-24mdk conflicts with libxfree86-4.3-30mdk

This implies to me that I need to update XFree86 to use JuK on Mandy 9.1.
Updating XFree86 is intimidating to think about. Is that the best thing
to do?

Incidentally, JuK is supposed to be part of kdemultimedia, but if I enter
# urpmi kdemultimedia
I get
Everything already installed

and if I then enter
# urpmi juk
I get
no package named juk

How odd. Any clues?

It's indeed very good, and it is part of mandrake 10.0. Mandrake 10.0 will
be available in a week or 2 on the official ftp's.

I don't think it's a simple process to upgrade from 9.1 to 10 though, is
it? I don't want to lose all the work I've put in getting my 9.1 running
(sorta) nice.

FWIW, I got JuK working fine last night under KDE/9.1, but not yet under
IceWM/9.1. I get the error:
Kio  (kmimetype):Warning:kservicetype::offers
:servicetype
application/octet/stream not found
several times in the shell when I run
$ Juk
and while Juk loads, I cannot play. Haven't investigated the error yet.
