    CSA V5.0.0.210 Remote Install Failure

Do NOT attempt to install the standalone version 5.0.0.210-3.0.3 of
Cisco Security Agent remotely. I attempted this last night and the
servers did not recover without having local support drive into the
office to help out. I was doing an upgrade of an older version of CSA
via VNC and have never had a problem doing remote installs of other
versions in the past. This may be isolated, but make sure that you test
or have a local support plan.

During the installation a warning will come saying that the network will
be disabled momentarily and then return. What actually happens is that
the network will NOT return without pressing ok locally on the machine.
The network does get disabled which limits any chance of continuing the
installation remotely but is not smart enough to bring it back or reboot
without manually pressing an "OK" box. Absolutely ridiculous flaw in
the program and I found it at a site where our local IT guy has a 2 hour
commute to the office. L

Hope this saves someone else...

I just installed the stand-alone CSA on two IBM servers and three HP
servers without any issues. I did it via VNC remotely, as I always do.
Did you stop the service, uninstall, restart, then re-install? I
always follow these steps and have never ran into any issues.
