Anyone ever do any integrations with a gate or doorbell intercom? In essence
a person rings the doorbell and phone(s) ring. If the person answers during
the ring cycle the call is connected and it is a normal intercom line (this
is working). If the call isn't answered while the line rings (about 5 rings)
then you are suppose to be able to pick up the line and dial ** or ## to hit
the intercom (This isn't working). The way the wiring scheme shows the
connection is the CO phone line comes into the intercom circuit board and
then from the intercom circuit board you connect to your phones (in my case
I have connected to a FXO port). Normal PSTN calls are working fine.
Intercom works fine when you catch it as it rings. I can't dial the ** or
##.

Anyone ever successfully configure a similar integration? I have done
numerous paging systems, but nothing like this.

Thanks.

Is it a Valcom V-2901? I've used them before without problems. It sounds
like maybe a DTMF relay issue. Do you have a dtmf method specified under
the voip dial peer?
