    Bogen TAM-B -> FXO/FXS?

I've searched through the archives and it almost seems that the Bogen
TAM-B can be connected via FXO or FXS (with some limitations depending
on the system)?

I've read that it can be tricky to kill the stream in an FXS or FXO and
it just keeps looping... Ultimately we would want to dial a DN and have
the system forward DTMF zone code. I'm assuming that this would be
dial-peer rules in this configuration? This seems to me to be an FXS
configuration.

Anyone have a TAM-B working in either of these configurations? If so,
what are the limitations?

TIA!

We use a TAM-B to interface from a VG248 into an overhead paging system. Wor
ks without a hitch. There are settings on the TAM-B that will help in many s
ituations.

Johan,

I've setup a TAM-B module with CCM off of an FXO card
as well as using a ATA device. It's not that tricky
and you shouldn't have many problems setting it up. If
it doesn't work the first time around you probably
have tip and ring reversed.

I've successfully done a handful of TAM-B's off VG428s (FXS) with single zon
e. I haven't tried multiple zones, but as you suggested, dtmf-relay is what
you're looking for to pass the zone number. Generally speaking, the produc
t works as expected...
