I am exporting the parent of a new channel using the server side SDAPI
and them importing that package with the client-side version of the
SDAPI on another server. The export report looks correct, however when
the package is imported all posting inside the new channel are put at
the root of the Channel structure and the new channel never gets
created on the import server. Is this how the SDAPI is designed to
work? Is there any way to move a new channel and its postings from one
server to another using the SDAPI? Let me know if anybody has any
ideas. Thanks.

-Pete

Hi Pete,

seems you did not export the channel.
Did you provide a start-channel GUID?
Did you specify a specific timeframe to export?

Cheers,
Stefan
