Hi,

I'm just trying to get a grips with what versions of MOSS are required
to achieve similar functionality as we had in CMS.

What I want to do is create new, content managed Internet facing sites
with custom authentciation (just link in CMS).

Which version(s) of MOSS do I need, and do I need anything client side
(like SCA, Site Manager etc).

My current thinking is that I need: Office SharePoint Server 2007
Enterprise CAL or for Internet Site

Will I be able to build content managed sites out of the box with that
software, or will I also need WSS3.0 etc?

Appologies if this should be in a MOSS group - but couldn't really
find one specific to content management.

Many Thanks

All you need is MOSS 2007 Standard. The CMS equivalent capability you're
looking for is called Web Content Management.
