Hi,

how does Perlbal handle sticky sessions? I set up perlbal as reproxy with=
2 resin backend webserver. The application requires login. Each time a r=
equest arrives at perlbal, it is redirected to another backend server. Us=
er session is bound a certain backend server, so each request must be red=
irected to the same backend server. How do you handle this at livejournal=
Brad?

Thanks.

Livejournal does not need sticky sessions.

But I sent a patch some days ago to this list giving Perlbal the =20
ability to choose the backend according to a cookie or hook. This can =20=

be used to enable sticky sessions.

Hope this helps.

Don't store the session state locally on one box.
