I'm preparing to get into Websphere Portal and found something confusing in=
a document of IBM.

In the chapter 4.5.2(page 181 of 454) of "Introduction to portalizing Domin=
o applications"
It says,"Custom Domino JSP tags aren=92t supported on WebSphere Portal, so =
......."
So ridiculous, Websphere Portal doesn't support Custom Domino JSP tags?! So=
what are we talking about? Who can tell me what it really means?

Good point in principle. Fact is that Domino 6.5. provides an extensive
set of custom tags that can be used within a JSP in a Websphere portal.
(Domino 6.0 custom tags don't work in a portal.)

By the way: There're articles and smaller IBM publications about
specific portal topics on developerWorks. Some of them are really up to
date and very hands on.

Can you direct us to some of thise articles?  The most recent redbooks I've 
been able to find are:
- Domino Apps and the Portal API
- Portalizing Domino Apps for WPS
- V4.2 Portlet Development Guide

Can you find a more up to date Portlet Development guide?  I'm getting frust
rated trying to cross-engineer some of the examples to work in WPS 5.0

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
