Is there any ways to programlly pickup messages from the drop folder of SMTP
service from an remote server?

Does SMTP service have any program interface to implement this except by
using shared folder?

The simplest way way to do this is to install the POP3 service, which
interoperates directly with Drop folders (adding indexing and locking but
otherwise leaving the maildir-like structure of multiple .EML files
intact).  It's extremely straightforward.  You can run it on any port you
like, so that it becomes more of a utility app.
