I am experiencing difficulty editing my pages.
After I have logged into the CMS successfully, I browse to the page I wish
to edit, this is usually a very smple/straight forward task, now however I
randomly get a blank white page with the text 'Access denied', nothing else,
no other text.

I have full rights for the CMS and this issue has only started appearing in
the last week.

We have some complaints from other users who are irregularly timed out of
the system, sometimes its after 5 minutes of no work, sometimes it could tim
e
you out after a whole day (although this may be unrelated)

I have checked our logs and see a common Application warning

"Exception information:
Exception type: WebAuthorException
Exception message: This operation requires the context of a Posting.
The request must have a valid Posting Url or QueryString so that the
CmsHttpContext.Posting will not be null. "

Any advice/suggestions would be great.

Hi,

if the problem started last week without major changes it sounds to me as if
there are connectivity problems between your MCMS server and the domain
controller.
This can lead to both problems as users cannot be authenticated (access
denied) and the CmsHttpContext object cannot be created if guest is
disabled.
