You really have no clue what you're doing, do you?

Ok, quick rundown. You used googlegroups to post in a USENET newsgroup.

Newsgroups are not email. Use google to figure out what USENET really
is. Newsgroups are not owned by google, even if they like to pretend so
because they host the largest public archive of USENET material.

There are many newsgroups. One should at least put some effort into
learning the local usance before the first post, by, say, skimming the
archives. Googlegroups is such an archive. Look around at what people
told previous recruiters. Most of it was not very kind.

This group is not for job postings. There are dedicated groups for that.
Those groups tend to have 'jobs' somewhere in the name. Guess what is
not in 'comp.unix.admin'?

And we'll not go into offering burger flipping rates. Even I, situated
in faraway Europe, know that you're offering a pittance. But then, you
are playing recruiter.

Bottom line: you should've done your homework, and you didn't. You could
apologize and catch up on the homework. Or you could throw a temper
tantrum, I suppose. You wouldn't be the first.

So you're pretty sure it's not OK but you say "Screw you, I'm doing it
anyway". I see.

You have GOT to be kidding me.

That won't even pay for gas and chiropractic adjustments, to say nothing
of the hazard pay required for Windows users and "Pleasant User
interactions with good communication skills".

I think you should advertise at San Jose State in the computing center.
There are always starving students willing to do a lot for bupkis. Then
again, they may already have summer internships lined up. Posting this
to a non-jobs news group only alienates the very people you're looking
to hire.

What did you expect from some G2/M$ IE user?

LOL...It usually means users can barely operate the mouse, though
you have to regard them as downright experts in any case...

Seems most reasonable.

That also goes for Foothill/DeAnza, Mission, Chabot, Las Positas, and
Ohlone - but he's probably already been banned from those campuses.

The wanker isn't looking to hire anyone - he's just trying to get the
commission for a warm body. Apparently, he's scared away any viable
candidates and is getting desperate.

I love the fact that the XXXXXXX leaves a phone number to call - so
I've just sent a "heads up" to the Santa Clara and Palo Alto HR clods,
warning them of his anti-social behavior. He might be given a chance
to explain, but there are so many pimps in that county, I rather doubt
he'll have a chance. I also (per corporate policy) sent a copy to
corporate HR for their files.

Old guy

I like the way you think. Interesting that you name implies pain relief
yet you so good at applying it lavishly where it's appropriate.
