That last attempt seems to have gone funny so I'll try again.

Can someone give me a good illustration of the difference between a
posting's ChangeDate and LastModifiedDate?  In the docs, the ChangDate
is noted as "Date (GMT) the posting either appeared on the live
version of the site or was visibly changed".  What is meant by
"visibly changed"?  Is it possible to make changed to a posting that
do not effect the ChangeDate?  Is it similarly possible for a
posting's ChangeDate to be altered without a user having done
anything?

Hi Chandy,

I haven't looked into the details but based on the description it seems that
change date is the date the page object has changed while the last modified
date might be the date when either the page or the posting object has
changed.
The page object holds the placeholder content - so the visible parts of a
posting.

So maybe a custom property value change wouldn't effect the ChangeDate
but would alter the LastModifiedDate?

Hi Chandy,

custom properties are also stored in the page object.
But maybe the start date or end date which are stored in the posting object.
Or the hidden property.

Hi Stefan,

What about the sortOrdinal?  It seems that the client is experiencing
the sort ordinal breaking the order when it's ordered by changedate.
