We have multipe commerce server sites on the server. Bizdesk is
installed on different client machines. It is working correctly on
Windows 2000/2003 clients. User can see reports (i.e. Usage Trends)
and select/unselect check boxe for different sites. But on Windows XP
client, user can still see the check boxes for sites but the check
boxes are disabled, so the user cannot select/unselect sites.

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

Does it happen in multiple Windows XP clients?

Do you have the required components?
Business Desk Client Software Requirements
In order for Business Desk users to use Analysis Services over HTTP or
HTTPS, your Commerce Server installation must use SQL Server 2000
Enterprise Edition. You cannot connect to SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition
with HTTP connectivity. For more information about enabling a Business Desk
user to run dynamic reports over HTTPS, see "Accessing the Analysis Server
Over HTTPS" in Commerce Server 2002 Help.

Before you install the Commerce Server Business Desk client, you must
install the following software on the client computer:

One of the following: Microsoft® Windows® 98, Microsoft® Windows NT®
Workstation 4.0, Microsoft® Windows NT® Server 4.0, Microsoft® Windows®
Millennium Edition, Microsoft® Windows® NT 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional,
Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 1 or
later, Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, or Microsoft® Windows Server™
2003.

Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 or later. You must install Internet
Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 or later to access the Business Desk
application, even if the application and client are on the same computer.
Note Internet Explorer 6 is the recommended browser for Commerce Server
2002.

Office XP Web Components.

Thanks for the response. Following software are installed on the machine:

Windows XP (Professional) 2002 SP-1
MS Office 2002 SP-2
Office Web Components 10.0.0.4109

There are other machines in our organization having Windows 2000 and Windows
2003. Bizdesk is working fine on them. but on this XP machine, the dynamic
reports come, with data and date, and site lists, nothing wrong with that. B
ut the check boxes (Site, D
ate) are disablled. Anyone having any idea how to resolve this issue?

Regards,
Tariq Majeed
