Hi!
I'm trying to use my T-Mobile UMTS Card with Feisty.
/var/log/messages indicates it is identified correctly:
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.488000] pccard: CardBus
card inserted into slot 0
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.596000] Initializing
Nozomi driver 2.1 (build date: May 23 2007 00:05:28)
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.596000] nozomi
0000:02:00.0: Card type is: 2048
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.596000] PCI: Enabling
device 0000:02:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.596000] ACPI: PCI
Interrupt 0000:02:00.0[A] -> Link [LNKE] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> I
RQ 11
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1625.600000] nozomi
0000:02:00.0: Nozomi driver nozomi_tty
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1626.128000] nozomi
0000:02:00.0: Version of card: 3
Jun  4 13:09:43 andreas-laptop kernel: [ 1626.128000] nozomi
0000:02:00.0: Initialization OK!

But how to use it? Is there any GUI? It can send SMS and you have to
change between GPRS and UMTS under Windows out of the box: but I don't
see any UMTS software for this under Feisty - even though it is detected
as "nozomi" device correctly...

Thanks!

Regards,
Andreas Weller

Have you googled on this card? I got a card like this (another brand),
that emulated the modem as a USB-device. Was "just" to set it up as a
serial modem using USB device files.

Good luck
