Hi!

I have a main and a detail orch.

The main recives a batch with 2300 "rows", I split this with a correlation
set and send it of to the detail orch. The detail orch goes to the database
and return a respons into a respone que on msmq. The main pick up the
respons form msmq and start to build a response message for the batch. When
the main orch has recieve all messaged from detail it will respond to
caller.

This woks fine for up to 1500 rows in batch but after that the performance
of the BizTalk start to fall.

What happen is this.

We can see that BizTalk read all response from detail/msmq. The main will
process about 1500 staright forward. After this he will start to process
only 20 messages at the time and the wait about 5 min to process the next 20
messages. So the detail response is read from msmq and are in BizTalk but
after about 1500 message BizTalk will not give more message back to the main
orch, and start doing this waiting and only give 20 message at the time back
to main orch.

We have tried to change the recieve port for msmq to diffrent batch size and
have only got a small performance gain. The problem still presist.

What makes BizTalk to stop after about 1500 message and start his 20 at the
time messages. We cannt see any problem in eventlog or somewhere else. The
memory of the server is 2gig and we can see that it peeks, but not i a
terribel way and for along time.

Can we configur BizTalk to take 20 message but every 30 sec? Or someother
config to speed it up?

Any ideers are appriciated.
