I've got a CMS 2001 site which I want to upgrade to the new version.
Can it be done directly or should I do upgrades step by step through
the different versions? I think it's the later but can anybody
confirm?

Hi,

just install CMS 2002 and point to the CMS 2001 database using the DCA.
This will upgrade the content.

You should take a backup of the DB before performing these steps to be able
to roll back in case of problems.

Cheers,
Stefan

I was thinking about going from 2001 to Office SharePoint Server
2007.

Thanks.

Hi,

you have to upgrade to CMS 2002 first.
There is no upgrade path from CMS 2001 to MOSS 2007.

Cheers,
Stefan
