Good morning everyone

we have a CM 4.2(3) and set up the queue for our Attendant console user. So
if
all lines are busy, the next caller comes to the queue, where an announcemen
t
from MOH is played.
Now the only problem is, the announcement does not start from the beginning
for
the second, third,... caller in the queue.
Is there a way to start the announcment from the beginning for every caller?

Thanks for help
Reto

I'm guessing you're using Multicast.

I would think if you used Unicast MOH then it should start at the
beginning.

Hi,

Im not sure if paging is available in CCM, previously I've done this by
using cisco 7940's and designating the second line as an auto-answer
line (which has to be done on the handset itself) and then using
asterisk and some magic in the dialplan to send the call out to the
phones.

It's dodgy-plus-plus, but I had a customer that demanded paging work and
at the time it was the only solution.

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Scott

I changed my MOH to Multicast and it got a bit better. I now the first two
callers hear the MOH from the beginning. The third caller joins the then the
first stream. So it looks like there are only two streams available.

Thanks for help
