Server A W3K server with FTP site. I'm setting up a Virtual Directory
with a UNC to a share on Server B, fo security, do I need to make a
local user account on Server A for FTP access , then add this user to
the Secuity permissions of the share on Server B.

thanks
Rick.

a) if both in a domain, then you can try domain account
b) if not, then create the same account at server B.
