When I try that I get ..

"We weren't ably to verify your route, you system returned the
following information, Error 407, An attempt to verify your SIP
address was rejected because the remote end only accepts authenticated
users".

So is that input / format error or a Sipgate specific issue (because
it's closed)?

p.s. Maybe the best way forward here John might be for you to
recommend a series of steps that would allow me to best see how this
all fits together, something that might be handy for your FAQ ..? I
don't mind depositing a few quid in an account to allow me to conduct
some tests etc.
