Hi all,

I'm getting the above Javascript error on my CMS page when clicking Exit on
the authoring console.

I've checked and the CMS directory is DEFINITELY not an application - just a
virtual directory.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Regards

Shivonne

Hi Shivonne,

please check the IIS logs.
It seems that the console.js cannot be found or at least not be loaded.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan

It looks like I am getting 404s with all the /CMS calls in the IIS logs:
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/CommonClient.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/Windows.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/Console.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/OptionsClient.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/JavaScriptUIStrings.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/Dates.js
/CMS/WebAuthor/Client/AuthFormClient.js

I can browse to the /CMS directory in IE (it returns Directory Listing
Denied) but anything beneath that returns a 404.

Thanks

Hi Stefan

I managed to solve this problem - it was the one outlined at your article
here http://blogs.technet.com/stefan_gos.../31/418436.aspx
(I cascaded the Hidden Files attribute down the directory tree).

Thanks and kind regards

Shivonne
