Hi All,

We have two front end load balanced IIS servers running Microsoft CMS 2002
and one backend SQL Server 2000 (all running Windows Server 2003). The site
is running. We recently reset the account the CMS runs under and updated thi
s
in the SCA (Server Configuration Application) and the site continued to run.

I notice that in the event log on ONE of the two frontend servers we are
getting:

Event ID: 2400
Event Source: MCMS
Description: Connection 01891788 <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
Driver]Communication link failure>{State=08S01 NativeCode=0}.

Is this a perimssion problem or a network problem? Any solution? If I look
at the network card on the front end server the usage is between 0 - 25%. Th
e
network usage on the SQL Server is between 0 - 12.5%.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Deepak,

this is an error message coming from ODBC layer.
Please post this question on an SQL or ODBC related newsgroup.

Cheers,
Stefan
