Hi Martin,
The log file is te job log in the control view of Backup Exec. when
you select the properties of the failed job it brings up another
window. The second tab is the job log.
The problem i have is that the job log says to see the job log. My
backups fail because it says there is insufficient storage media, even
though there is a fresh tape in the drive. It wont allow even a test
to succeed if the job is set for overwrite. the test fails after 5
mins, and its starting to drive me nuts. The test succeeds if its set
to append to media, but when the actual job is run it then requires 3
tapes which is a waste, and not practical. Started doing this out of
the blue. If anyone has encountered this before please help before
the commit me to an asylum.
Thanks in advance
Ian
