I ought to be able to select multiple ranges of files in Konqueror by
holding the Ctrl key down; instead the previously selected range is lost.

Thinking this was a bug in the Etch version of KDE I installed the
backports.org 3.5.7, but that didn't help.

Ctrl doesn't seem misbehaved in any other way.

Anyone have a cluehammer?
