Hello

I have HP dataprotector express 3.10 SP4 on my Windows2003 server and I have
a problem with backup job. The backup is starting every day at 01:00 AM, I
have 5 tapes for every day of the week. Backup works fine besides Monday
when this software show mi information "Please insert a compatible media".
What is the problem? Backup job should format and append all media because
this setting is on in the backup job.

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

Sebastian

You may get better response from the Data Protector forum on backupcentral.c
om:

http://www.backupcentral.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=6

You'll need to register for a Backup Central user id, but that's free. Then
you can post your question via the forum, or register for the Data Protecto
r mailing list. (All messages posted in the forum are sent to the mailing l
ist, and vice versa.)

It's a relatively new forum and mailing list, but we do have a number of peo
ple that are using Data Protector checking it on a regular basis.

I'm REALLY sorry for the inconvenience. The only registrants I was =
getting from Poland, Russia, and a few other countries were SPAMMERS =
wanting to flood my forums with unsolicited commercial postings. As =
much as I hated to do it, my only choice was to exclude those countries =
from automatic registration. (Prior to doing this, approximately 30% of =
my registered users were spammers from these countries, and my forums =
were getting many, many spams a day. After excluding those countries =
and deleting the spammers, now they get one or two a month.)

If you're a valid user with technical questions, and you're being =
unjustly excluded, please send an email to that effect, and I'll be =
happy to register you manually. My email address is:
curtis -> the-at-symbol <- backupcentral.com

Again, I'm REALLY sorry for the inconvenience.
