I am new portal programming, as a start I created an instance of portal serv
er v6.0 at RAD7.0 and selected start button for starting server without even
 creating any application, to test whether server is running or not, but iam
 not getting this message "
Publish is not formed since server is not started, start the server and publ
ish"

Can any one help me on this,

It's been my experience that starting the portal server from RAD7 has been s
lower than by the normal way. Is there a reason you're starting it from RAD?

Hi,

If you are having trouble starting it from RAD7, you can start it from Start
-Programs-IBM WebSphere-Portal Server v6-Start the Server.
