We are using portal server 5.1.0.3. We try to give user a warning pop window
 when they login to portal site then keep idle for a period time which is ov
er web container timeout setting. There is a re-active link on the window, s
o user can click this lin
k to keep session alive. This link is not to access portal page or action/re
nder URL but to access a servlet in same web application. And I find it's no
r work, portlet session still timeout. If I change the link to portal page U
RL or action/render URL, it
works fine. My question is why portlet session is timeout even to access ser
vlet in the same web application? Please help me, thanks a lot !
