I have experienced the following problem, maybe some has made a similar expe
rience:
When I stop the portal and I restart it via command startServer.sh WebSphere
_Portal I am unable to connect to the portal. Everything seems to have start
ed correctly (ps -ef gives me the processes are available and running both f
or application server and p
ortal). Still the I cannot connect via interent to my server.

Anyone can give some hints?

Have you checked the SystemOut.logs, Sometimes even though you see the proce
ss if it has failed to start all the components then u can't access the port
al.
