Does anyone know if this bug is going to be fixed? Have seen this on
version 1.3(2) at a few places now and then and need to reboot to fix.
The bug id saids to reboot and it is listed as fixed in bug toolkit
but no version or patch is available with a real fix. I have been to
TAC in past on this with no luck either.

Rebooting a server is not a fix. Can one of the cisco folk on the list
update the bug id so it states not fixed and to keep on rebooting.
Does CER 2.0 take care of this (is that available as an upgrade yet?)

Erick

We were just talking around the office about a similar question - does
the bug system automatically track when a particular bug has been
resolved and update automatically?

Say I have a bug,
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtoo...ugid=CSCsf21458 which
causes phones that are registering in SRST mode to kick each other out
of the ephone "slots". This was fixed in a custom build of IOS for us
(12.4.(9)T b134). The bug page says that it's first fixed in
12.4(11.1)T, 12.4(9)T02, 12.4(4)XC05, 12.4(11)T02.

Does that mean that 12.4(15)T1 has the fix?

Hrmm. Is this a one-off issue, because the system should automatically
update, or something that I have to ask our SE about with each new
version of IOS that we contemplate on running?
