jdo2-api jar - follow Maven2 naming best practices
--------------------------------------------------

Key: JDO-512
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-512
Project: JDO
Issue Type: Task
Components: api2
Reporter: Chris Beams
Priority: Minor

Currently, the jar for the jdo2-api maven build is named jdo2-api-SNAPSHOT.

In accordance with maven naming/versioning best practices, this should be jd
o2-api-2.1-SNAPSHOT.

This will allow users to declare dependence on the api in poms as follows:

<dependency>
<groupId>javax.jdo</groupId>
<artifactId>jdo2-api</artifactId>
<version>2.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>

When 2.1 is officially released, they can then transition these declarations
 by simply removing the '-SNAPSHOT':

<dependency>
<groupId>javax.jdo</groupId>
<artifactId>jdo2-api</artifactId>
<version>2.1</version>
</dependency>

I've submitted a patch to JPOX's Maven2 pom files that assumes this change;
it's submission is dependent upon the jar name being changed here in Apache
JDO first.

See the related JPOX forum thread here: http://www.jpox.org/servlet/forum/v...
ad?thread=4523

Thanks,

- Chris
