Hi,

My existing web app is struts based. Its a huge application.
I want to migrate current web app to Portal web app and develop/deploy portl
ets.
What factors need to be considered for this?

Also if in future if the web application need to be migrated to Spring f/w, 
then how it will affect the portal development of existing portlets ( on str
uts ) and new portlets ( spring )?

There are two ways to do it....

Way 1 ->
a. Developing and Deploying Struts Portlets using SPF on existing Web APP
b. Later converting Struts Portlet F/w into Spring Framework. IS it possible
?

Way 2 ->
a. Converting the existing Struts based application into Spring first
b. Develop Portlet on Spring Framework..

I could not find any help on migration from Struts Portlet F/W to Spring Por
tlet F/w. Does anybody have any idea ?

My idea is that does not need to migrate to portlet-base app.
To integrate servlet apps ,there are many ways. To migrate the apps ,you mus
t modify many codes.

Almost all of my applications in the Project are struts based ..
I think I will have to migrate to SPF abd build new portlets..
