    Sudden Disconnect from HP Server

Dear Experts,

I am using Xmanager from my pc to connect to a HP unix Server.
Since one week ago, after a while the browser/xterm will be
terminated.
At that moment, I checked that IO and CPU of the server were not busy.
The error does not happen when I connect to another HP unix Server.
After the disconnect, it comes up with the following message :
XIO : fatal IO error 232 (connection reset by peer on X Server "my
pc's address:0.0)
after 211446 requests (210561 known processed) with 0 events
remaining.

Do anybody know why and how to resolve it?

Do you have some sort of network timeout (connection or inactivity
time limit) set up?  What is between you and the other system?

Do a traceroute from one system to the other.  Are they in same
building, or remote locations?  If they're in the same place,
should just be a few hops - find out who owns those systems and
ask them if they have some sort of a timeout.

I've done traceroute (all the machines are in same subnet) :
a. from problem unix server to my pc -
i. during normal time - one route only
ii. during problem time -
1 * * *
2 * * *
3 * * *
4 * * *
5 * * *
6 * * *
7 * * *
8 * * *
9 * * *
10 * * *
11 * * *
12 * * *
13 * * *
14 * * *
15 * * *
16 * * *
17 * * *
18 * *
servername (192.168.1.XXX)                         0 ms
b. from another unix server to my pc - one route only
c. from my pc to problem unix server - one route only
d. from my pc to another unix server - one route only

All the machines are in the same place.
I've asked the administrator for that. He changed some
configuation file in /etc/rc.config.d
The problem still occurs.

I've started some processes ping my PC and other unix server.
When the ping process which ping my PC on-hold, the browser
or other applications which need export the DISPLAY to my PC
will be disappeared. (I'm using Xmanager 2.0 or 1.3.9e)

Please advise whether you have any ideas? Thanks!
