dear all...

if no index.html is pressent apache2 displays an directory listing

this is not what i need it to do....

if it displays an 404 page it is okey... it doesn't do that ither.

please advise...

have RTFM, so if you can help please do

i made the apropriate changes

<Directory />
Options Indexes MultiViews
DirectoryIndex index.html
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>

the above was the org....

but it did not make the listing go away....
