    Problem Adding Channels/Postings to Production

After adding a channel with a default posting to our
production server, then clicking on "Switch to Live Site",
we receive an error message:

Address: http://cms/NR/Shared/invalid.htm
You are redirected to this page because one of the
following occured:

You have requested an item that you do not have rights to
view.
You have requested an item that is expired.
You have requested an item that no longer exists.
You have requested an item that has not been published.
Please contact your administrator.

However, none of the conditions above are true. The
channel/page is not expired, is in an "Approved" state,
exists.....what could cause this behavior?

When looking at the properties of the page in edit mode,
the URL points to /NR/exeres/39EB17F0-7B49-48F8-A5EA-
6E04C2035B30.htmdefault
None of my other pages point to the /NR... directory.

Any help appriciated.

Hi Tim,

is the state of the posting "Published"?

Cheers,
Stefan.

Yes. The page status is "Published".

Here's the strange thing, when I came in this morning, the
Channel and Posting were working properly. Last night,
they weren't.

Now, the URL's do not include the /NR/exeres/39EB17F0-7B49-
48F8-A5EA-6E04C2035B30.htmdefault, instead, they look
right! What could explain this? Does this have something
to do with a Cache somewhere?

Thanks.

Hi Tim,

sounds like a caching issue. But I have never seen this.
Maybe something in your IE cache?
If it happens again, be sure to clear your browser cache and check again.

Cheers,
Stefan.
