Access denied when importing a SDO file

Hi there,

I am trying to import a SDO file but get "access to the file <filename.sdo>
is denied".

What I did is:
1.) create a web service on CMS server A
2.) use server-side export to create the SDO file on CMS server A
3.) then do a client-side import to import the SDO file to another CMS
server B

Both these operations happen in the web service which uses windows
authentication. I invoked the web service through the browser and I logged
in as admin of the CMS server A.
Bother Server A and B have MCMS 2002 + SP1 installed.

Any ideas?

TIA.

Hi J,

this is a common question.
Site Deployment removes the permissions for all users except admin and power
users.
You need to add the application pool account to the power users group to get
this working.

Cheers,
Stefan.
