One of the remote location had a 7800HP server running cisco Unity. The
server has the following alarm,

Error: Event ID 1186

IDE ATA disk status change. The ATA disk drive with model MAXTOR 6e040l0
& serial number E1LZFB1E has new status 3 of 4

ATA disk status values

*  1-other

*  2-ok

*  3=smart error

*  4=failed

If I were you, I'd upload a S.M.A.R.T. monitoring software (you should
find some freebies on the net I guess) to he server, and check out
what's going on.

However, if the disk has a smart error, you should be getting ready to
change it sometime soon.
