Sorry, I don't deal with spammers. But thank you for warning me to
avoid you as one, I would have hated to do business with you by mistake.
Here's a hint for you: this is a group for sysadmins to talk to each
other, not for spammers to exploit as a free advertizing forum.

Blah, blah, blah. STFU. You don't get to decide what is posted here
regardless of what you think.

It's not wise to post job listings in UNIX groups. For the most part,
the very people who would be candidates or might hire from the offending
firm almost universally don't like it. Which would lead to the
candidates represented by the firm having their resumes shitcanned and
the firm being blacklisted company-wide.
And actually, we _do_ get to decide what gets posted here. Not by any
banning policy or stuff you see in on-line forums. News groups have
been around a lllllooooonnnnnnggggggg time (I think google has
references to articles I posted in the early 1990s). Most groups decide
what they allow or don't allow and then flame the poster or complain the
posting ISP.
Dave's been here quite a while. This is the first I've ever seen of you.

Got a chip on your shoulder, eh?
As another poster has said, the group actually does have the
right to decide what's posted here and, in general, jobs
postings, solicitations of work for hire, and other topics
for which there are other, more appropriate newsgroups, are
frowned on.
Same's true for abusive or ill-informed postings coming from
folks like you.
I won't say it's been a pleasure meeting you, so ...

You're right, I wasn't around when the charter was written for this
group. Were you? Look at it this way - if a headhunter is willing to
violate the decades old social inertia of "don't spam techie groups with
jobs spam", what other conventions is he going to violate? Would you
trust them to, for instance, not call your current boss and ask for a
reference? Would you trust them to not send your resume somewhere
without checking with you first? There's tons of good headhunters out
there, why would you deal with someone who shows the first sign of
either ignorance or willful violation of conventions?
Did you have anything to contribute on the topic of Unix systems
administration, by the way? I seem to have missed it.

No, actually you don't.

Yes, he has been whining for here for some.
