--FIRST :
I am trying to install WS Portal Express Plus on Windows 2003 (Server Entrep
rise Edition). Just after the agreement statement, I have the "checking for 
required OS and software prerequisites" that fails. Just as it did with WinX
P (wich is an unsupported O
S)

I get the following message :
"OS prerequisite check Failed. refer to the message log file C:\Temp\install
messages.txt for additional information"
The message log file says "The installed Operating System level is not suppo
rted."

Win2003 Server is though supported by WS Portal! right?
So What is still going wrong?!

--SECOND:
When I carry on the installation regardless of that, i get asked for the WS 
Portal Express CD just before ending the installation. Hence, I cannot finis
h the Install process.
So, What's the point ???

It is not supported by Portal Express:

it is supported by the full Portal Server.
