Is there a setting that allows me to tell sendmail to use a certain
interface or sender ip address for outgoing connections?

Yes.


DAEMON_OPTIONS( Modifier=b )

However, watch out if you're running an IPv6 enabled node and the destinatio
n is
IPv4 only.

The above makes sendmail send mail via the same interface it has been receiv
ed.
[ It may be what Frank *really* wanted ]
