Er, Knebel?
Rule One, know thy poster.
Rule Two, never wade into a newsgroup where you can get your XXX handed to
you.
Rule Three, too late.
Servers contain data, if they don't this guy Hecht who spend his daughter's
university money is a bigger fool than, er, you. A quick Froogle and:
www.zeppinhood.net
Looks to me like he's good2go. Which doesn't meant your master-hacker
didn't have his jollies with the poor boy. Rendering the server unusable.
Short of atomic weaponry, knocking a server to its knees by corrupting the
data/OS installed, or by DOS or by several dozen other methods, IS
rendering it unusable.
A good hacker as you blabla it, would know the BUPs, smack the server
upside its head with a jolt of BS code, track and hope that the auto BUP
routine kicks and Voila!, muchu crapolo. or slam it with DOS, well. you get
the idea.
Naw, bet you don't.
